Aakaash Yoga is run by Kumkum, who offers Hatha Yoga classes, classes in Mindfulness and Breathwork, and workshops in specialised areas of Yoga. Classes are held in the Lausanne area and are taught either in English or French.

Her group classes are small in size, offering personalised attention and variations for your level of ability, so that they are suitable for beginners all the way to advanced students. You can join at any time during the year.

Hatha Yoga classes are holistic, with a full body workout, breathing exercises, and guided meditation/relaxation. The classes are taught in traditional Indian style - dynamic and challenging, yet non-competitive. Each person focuses on their own inner body and mind.

Mindfulness and Breathwork classes include practices from ancient traditions in mindfulness, visualisation, meditation and breath control/expansion. These sessions are designed to reduce stress, increase energy levels, calm and centre the mind, and increase total well-being.

With over 25 years of experience, Kumkum is trained and certified by Sivananda Yoga, Bihar School (Satyananda) Yoga, and TeenYoga UK. Kumkum has experience teaching adults, expecting mothers, children and teenagers, seniors, schools, performers, corporations, as well as yoga teacher trainings and workshops.

Kumkum speaks English, French, German, Dutch and Hindi, so you can ask for additional help in your language, if needed. Her aim is for you to learn, progress, and reach your maximum personal capacity.

A workshop in 2 sessions of 3 hours each, from 9:00 to 12:00. The first session takes place on Monday 2 May and the second session on Monday 9 May.

Learn to use natural, non-medical Yogic techniques to prevent and relieve ailments of the head, nose and throat, such as:

  • migraines and headaches
  • sinus problems
  • hay-fever, allergies to airborne particles
  • coughs, colds, flu
