About Aroga

Aroga, a word which has it roots in Sanskrit, and meaning 'without illness' can be used interchangeably for the word "svaastha" or "health"; all yogic knowledge to achieve svaastha is Aroga.

As a sculptor carefully gets rid of the unwanted excesses to leave a beautifully sculpted figure in the end, we find ourselves by shunning our five excesses: desires, anger, greed, attachment and ego. What is left is our deeper source of energy, balance and inner peace.

The Aroga school stresses mastery of Body, the message of Oneness of Guru Nanak and Yoga as a practice to be earned. In each of us resides a student and a teacher and it is with this trust that the Aroga school invites you to connect with them, share with them, and learn from and teach them at the same time.
